Our Online Directory uses Elvanto, which is a secure and easy to use online tool that allows members of Praise Assembly to connect to each other and to what's happening at our church. Through your online account, you'll be able to access and update contact info, search for groups*, manage group involvement*, and use the church directory.

Once your account is ready, you'll be invited to register through Elvanto and will gain access to the features below.

  • YOUR PROFILE — Help us keep in touch with you! View and keep your record updated with correct address, phone number and e-mail.
  • PRIVACY SETTINGS — Easily control the information that you want or don’t want to be seen in the online directory (i.e. you can show or hide your birth date, e-mail address, social networking information, etc). 
  • ONLINE CHURCH DIRECTORY — By sharing your information, you are opting in to the private Praise Assembly Online Directory. Only those who have the status of member or attendee in our database can opt-in and view others in the online directory. We strongly encourage everyone to be part of the directory to help staff and other people in the church get in touch with you.

*"Groups" functionality is not currently in place but is being examined for future use.

FAQ

Q: Why do I have to give my birth date when I register?

A: It helps us identify that it’s really you, prevents the creation of a duplicate record and helps us comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Praise Assembly, Inc. requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account. Creating an account with false information is a violation of our terms.

Q: I don’t have an e-mail address, can I still opt-in?

A: Not at this time. We recommend creating a free email address through Google's Gmail.

Q: I opted in the directory and my wife also tried to do so but it told her that the e-mail address was already used. We share an e-mail address, how does she opt in too?

A: Unfortunately our database program requires each individual to have a unique log-in. Your e-mail address is what identifies you as a "unique person." This is the same requirement of financial institutions or any place online that requires you to create a user account.

Q: Can I call the office and have you add me to the online directory?

A: Internet Privacy Rules do not allow us to opt in for you. Your log-in information should be private. If you don’t have access to a computer and need assistance, you can come to the office and one of our admin staff can assist and walk you through it.

Q: I have followed the instructions and I can’t log in, who do I contact?

A: Thank you for submitting your information! Please note that this is a manual process and will take at least a few days to process and prepare your account. You will be contacted through the email you provided regarding any updates and/or notified when your account is ready. Once your account is created, you’ll receive an email with the subject line: “Your account login details”. Q: Can anyone view my information if I opt-in to the directory?

A: ONLY people in our congregation who have the status of member or regular attender in our database can opt-in and view the directory. Visitors and the general public cannot access the directory.
